I’ve not seen the result table.
Are the results in for Gibraltar and the ex-pats in Australia.

Yeah. Gibraltar voted, like 95% remain, but it wasn’t enough. No idea about the Oz expats.

I think it was something like 1.2million ex-pats were entitled to vote.
The next few hours are going to be crazy and the coming months there will be a lot of back and forth over what it means, etc...

So I’m assuming that the Remain or Leave were pretty much down to party lines?
![]() 06/24/2016 at 03:46 |

Nope! It was actually a total mess, party-wise. The real divide was geographic.

Ah, very interesting. Was it north vs. south? I’m guessing that people who travel regularly to mainland Europe would want to stay.

Here’s a map. It’s basically Scotland, Northern Ireland and London versus most of Wales and England.
Needless to say, I wouldn’t be terribly surprised if another Scottish Independence referendum were in our near future—and this time, there’s no way they’re staying. And Sinn Fein have already called for a border referendum in Ireland. (Not that there’ll necessarily be one right away, but the Good Friday agreement relied on the EU, so there’ll definitely be some renegotiation there.)

Wow, that is interesting. I’d guess London is because the bankers and corporations want to have an easier time trading.

Partly that, partly that it’s one of the most cosmopolitan parts of the UK, and people there tend not to believe in the immigration boogeyman quite so readily.

No, it’s a French car. You’ll have to buy a 2005 Rover 25.

Can’t I at least have the MG instead? Y’know, assuming there’s still one with a non-blown head gasket somewhere in the country.

Is the woodworm a paid add-on, or part of the standard package?

Since the “Stars” stand for the ideals of Solidarity, Unity and Harmony amongst the folks of Europe, why would anyone from the UK want to?

I’m more talking about my number plate—kind of a pain to change it.
That said, 48% of us - including myself - did vote to stay. I'd love some solidarity, unity and harmony right now.

Yeah, some unsettling times for sure. Hang in there.

I'm im Spain right now, and the fellas in Madrid have already started to talk about Gibralter again. Time to move on, muchachos.

Yeah, it’s in the news. Honestly, if I lived there, I’d be all for a shared sovereignty agreement or whatever, I think. Anything to get a foot off this sinking ship.
I think I might be entitled to Irish citizenship through my mum, but since she’s a Brexiteer it’s gonna be a right pain getting hold of the documentation to make an application.

I just looked up the requirements for an EU visa and it looks like a royal PIA.

Sorry , all we can find for you is a Triumph Herald that needs a lot of work to pass MOT. No fancy estate cars for you either. Get your boiler suit from the wardrobe and grab a spanner.
